Enterprise Opens Port Arthur Terminal

Enterprise Products Partners’ new refined products terminal at Port Arthur, Texas, has opened for business. The 5.4m bbl (860,000 m3) facility, built at a cost of $330m, has 20 storage tanks for gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. Designed to support the expansion of a nearby refinery, the terminal has links into several pipeline networks.

“We are very pleased to be able to provide the midstream infrastructure and services that will facilitate the expansion of one of the country's largest refineries," says Michael A Creel, president and CEO of Enterprise.

“The new tank farm also helps provide supply assurance for Enterprise's refined products pipeline network serving the Gulf Coast, Midwest and northeast US markets, while complementing one of our core strategies to diversify the partnership's cash flow.”
