New edition of ISM Code from ICS/ISF
ICS and ISF have published a new edition of their Guidelines on the Application of the IMO International Safety Management (ISM) Code. The new edition, timed to coincide with the latest amendments to the Code, which come into effect on July, includes additional guidance on risk management, safety culture and environmental management. A new analysis on accident causes is also included, with the aim of helping vessel operators fulfil the spirit as well as the letter of the ISM Code's requirements.
